You people don't seem to comprehend the idea of an off-topic topic. 
Such a topic is off-topic.  It's the topic you don't talk about - cuz 
it's off.  See?  It's not the off topic you do talk about because it's 
not on topic, it's that other one, the one you don't talk about.

See?  Clear as mud.  Hyphens matter. ;)

PS: Cows (even holy cows) don't have cubs - that's bears.  Cows have
