I've been using the 30 day evaluation of SQL Maestro for Oracle for about a
week. If there is an Explain Plan tool it is well hidden. Same for version
control.
There's nothing wrong with it forr what it does. It's somewhat more
responsive than free SQL*Developer, but it did appear to hang from time to
time.
Two nits: 1) Autocommit is on by default, 2) Execute selected is a different
key combination that execute, with text selected.
For free (and for Oracle), I'd stick with SQL*Developer. If I were spending
a few bucks I'd spend a few more and go with TOAD. My $.02/YMMV.
