I'm currently converting to Postgresql. There are ODBC drivers for both
MySql and Postgresql for Windows. They work fine.
Here is what I used for MySQL http://www.dbasehost.com/tutorials/mysql3.php
Make sure to use the 32 bit version of the driver AND Windows ODBC tool.
