I think you have to turn it off for all paradox: 
preferences>General>Disable hyperlinks

Rant> I hate negative checkbox options, "disable" instead of "enable." 
You see them mixed up together all the time.  You're quickly scanning a 
list of complex options and sprinkled in there are a few written as a 
"disable" instead of "enable".  Why?
