made a generic process that feeds the vars/text to one or more fields in a 
one-record private table.. the fields in the table are in the header of the 
reports, instead of text fields/calc fields.. adapted about a dozen reports 
so far, including two instances of sequential reports, one instance of 
reports where it changes each time thru a loop.. so far, no GP on the real 
network

now to let the humans beat on it all day :-)

I have several reports created and/or tweaked in P9, that GP in P10 or P11..
even if I edit the report in P10 or P11 and re-save it.. hit OK, the report
is fine, and everyone can just go on their merry way, but it's annoying as
hell, and there's always the possibility that the GP will make something
else screw up, if you don't actually abort

any clues?
