Hi Bernie,

it's not necessary to use an gmail.com address for google-login. you cayn 
use different one too - a kind:

    user@something.whatever

and if you don't want to use google directly, try it to start with:

    https://www.startpage.com/

it's free and you can work with google a kind of anonymous.

i think, as long nobody tells a better solution, this is the only way to 
survive vor TheDBCummunity.
