Thanks Steven. I will see what I can do on the basis of your resolve 
method. I just don't like to be defeated on such things when they arise.

Yes, stick to v9 is probably sensible but someone else asked me what it 
was like and as I had not used it to date thought I would see how I got 
on with it! It just seems strange that you cannot get at the Startup 
area as is available in most other software!
