I have a situation where:
User has several machines.
Using Paradox 9 - 9.00.738 with 2 patches
on
Windows 10 Pro

After recent Windows patch Paradox crashes (closes outright) when attempting
to print. The system has MANY reports, all open to screen correctly.

Users print to two different printers and a PDF printer.

It does not seem to be printer related (directly), as soon as you open “plain”
Paradox and choose file print, it closes.

There also seems to be a zero / blank change, SOME blanks on some reports
show as zero. Maybe calculated fields. Maybe tied to a Windows setting, but
a definite difference.

Suspect the Windows patch that moved to build 1809.
They have one machine still on OS build	1803, no problems.

Opened a case with Microsoft.
They ran the usual gambit:
uninstall Paradox and then reinstall it, refresh windows, windows repair,
etc.

MANY other things tried in desperation, I do not have the whole story, but
they checked all hardware, drivers, etc.

It really points to the latest windows patch. They cannot roll back (not
sure why).

Does anyone have anything on compatibility issues between the version of
Paradox 9.00.738 with 2 patches and Windows 10 Pro version 1809?.

Is anyone running Paradox 9.00.738, Windows 10 Pro version 1809?

I am open to suggestions, but as I said they have tried a lot of things (I
am not on site).

Microsoft suggests:

Reset Windows 10 (keeps personal files but wipes out applications so need
to reinstall apps and settings)

Or

clean install of windows 10

Skeptical of both.

I am suggesting move to Paradox 10 to at least test. Since they have multiple
machines with same issue and one that does not have an issue with only difference
as the OS build… it points to the OS build.
