client has this thing that's been running for at least 10 years.. the
paradox app puts together an html page, makes it the body of an email
message, sends the message.. in this message, there's a date field to fill
in, and a "submit" button that sends an email back to the client.. outwardly
simple.. VERY simple
but it's java-based, and most platforms are now refusing to accept the email
and/or refusing to process the java bit
are there simple ways to mimic this behavior in an acceptable manner? there
are a gazillion ways to safely do it in a more complicated manner, but are
there ways to do it the same way, without java?
inquiring minds want to know..
