The latest Win10 (20H2) has just been released and the Microsoft army of
free beta testers haven't had time to find all the bugs. (Anyone who
installs the latest version of Windows within 6 months of release is a
free MS beta tester). I've just installed 2004 and only after MS fixed a
lot of the bugs that were in it upon release. You can specify the
"Target Release Version" on your computer if you have Win10 Pro. It's a
Group Policy. It's a good idea to delay monthly updates and version
updates until they're stable and when you're ready to test with your
legacy apps.
