Hi, I need help with an error message I get after installing Paradox from
WordPerfect Office Suite 2021 Upgrade, and attempting to run it. The error
message that I get is

Could not initialize BDE.:
Path not found
File: \\MAC\HOME\DOCUMENTS\PDXPRIV\PDOXUSRS.LCK

This does not seem to be a problem with the upgrade, but with my own computer.
I deleted the Paradox installed from the upgrade, and then tried to install
Paradox from the CD with WordPerfect Office X8, which I have purchased a
few years back (that being the version from which I have updated twice, the
last time two days ago). After installing successfully, I tried to open Paradox
and got the exact same error message. To judge from that message, the problem
is the Borland Database Engine (BDE), which probably needs updating. I don't
know how to do that.
