in general, we're all usually discussing 20-year-old apps that we're
maintaining.. we won't develop new stuff in paradox, or any of the old
desktop apps you mentioned.. and, to be blunt, I should point out that
Access always is and always was the absolute worst choice.. totally
unusable in a multi-user environment
