Once upon a time, the site was in Mambo, managed by Larry. I know nothing about its content
- but as I recall, it became impossible to maintain since Mambo died and the server continued
being updated. Porting it to Joomla would have required more effort than Larry wanted to make.

The zip I offered is the pre-Mambo plain HTML version of the site that I maintained.

Given that the web content has been gone for eternity, I don't really see any reason to bring
that part back - though I easily could, and would do it as plain HTML if I did.

The bigger issue is continuing discussion groups. Seems no one is willing to state which of
the various options they prefer and no one wants to take on the burden of administration.
Thing is, I don't really use these groups for talking Paradox (in case no one noticed), so
I'd rather not be the one to decide the path forward (even though I own both domains - ParadoxCommunity
and theDBCommunity). I guess if no one else has any more to say, I'll make a decision just
before Larry makes things read
only.

I don't understand why google groups isn't the obvious preference - it would outlive all of
us and require minimal effort.

Liz

site. Jazz it up as needed (or not). How much is your time worth? Get a Joomla add-on called
HTMLtoArticles from Joomlashack for around $49 and do the whole lot in 10 minutes, or do it
by hand - Create groups, create an article per HTML document, move the HTML document into the
article and save. Job done in a week or so.

many Paradox users were there left, did you say? Is it worth $150 a year? Or just download
the HTML to your hard disk directory. Then decide about the groups.
