Forums, I can do (all forums support email notifications these days; I would do this with some
sort of complex account verification in order to avoid spammers and bots). News server, I
cannot do. Forums will die with me and will either have to go on ParadoxCommunity.com or LizMcGuireOnline.com.
No idea how Corel would react to a forum for Paradox users on ParadoxCommunity.com. I suppose
I could ask for donations to help pay the $21.99 per year that it costs to keep thedbcommunity.com
(it's currently
paid for through 16 October 2025).

NOTE: Google groups will email you: https://support.google.com/groups/answer/9792489?hl=en&ref_topic=2458613&sjid=6645174762368132401-NC

I've just gone through all the google groups that come up when I search for Paradox and determined
that the only ones for our Paradox start with the word "corel" or include comp.databases.paradox.
I can't figure out how private one's email address is on these groups - when I look at messages,
I can't find a way to see a person's email address or profile, yet in some of the help documents,
it claims they're visible / linked. No idea what to make of that. Guess I could make a junk
gmail account
for testing.

Lots of familiar names here: https://groups.google.com/g/corel.developer.paradox

And it makes me believe these are sync'ed from Corel's news server, just don't ask me how.
