yes, and no..
no.. paradox stopped cuz the bde was stopped.. borland licensed paradox to
one company, sold dbase and delphi to other companies.. late 90s
yes.. parts of the bde go all the way back to C code in the mid 80s..
altogether, a couple million lines of code got compiled into the bde, over a
decade
