in pdoxdos 4.01, there was a bug limiting to 50 tables in a lock file, in a
folder.. since fixed
otherwise, no tables-in-a-folder limit, other than as a performance issue..
I've worked on apps with over 1000 tables, over 6000 files, in a folder
