Every cpu instruction has to be emulated in software. Apparently Pentium
II is about as fast a cpu that can be emulated at full speed. In the
interest of genuineness (is that a word) achieving real speed is deemed
a feature.
Like many/most open source endeavors it is dominated by one person.
Don't have networking yet, but to get stuff in is as simple as pointing
the CDROM device to a folder then reading the CDROM as normal. Later I
might need to get stuff out. No hurry.
AN ongoing issue is that modern cheaper printers don't support PCL or
Epson. Provided drivers are extremely limited.
