Yo hice alguna investigación y parece sólo Paradox 10 y 11 tienen el
problema causado por XP SP2. Si ése es el caso, entonces yo pienso tu/su 
problema debe relacionarse a una incompatibilidad (los nombres del campo, el 
número de campos, el idioma de la tabla) de algúna manera...

La única otra cosa en que yo puedo pensar es cambiar el "ROWSET SIZE" para 
el alias a 1 o 0.

Lo siento, yo no puedo ser de más ayuda - yo nunca he probado MySQL 5, sólo 
4.x (qué trabaja bien con Paradox 8 y 11).
