thanks, guys.. got that working fine.. the mystery wasn't really how to trap 
manually, it was my surprise that there's no "event type" trap to simplify 
it.. ah, but we're 20 years too late, to complain now :-)

If you trap for keyPhysical on the form level you should be able to get what
you want.

Put this on the form level and you should be able to go from there.
