Hi Anders,

When I do this, it makes the fields I have in the box become part of the 
Notebook.  I have fields on both the Notebook and inside the box.

Right click the box in design mode, chose properties, design, uncheck
contain objects.

That should really do the trick - unless I miss understood the question.
which wouldn't be a first...
