if you right click on a table in the data model on a form, you have three 
check/uncheck defaults.. read-only, strict translation, auto-append.. what 
the hell is "strict translation", anyhow? :-)

and BTW, for those who forgot.. evidently you gotta turn auto-append off 
here, for each table, to fix the "mouse scroll" problem

and BTW, for those who don't know what the "mouse scroll" problem is, 
turning off auto-append in the regular properties works for keystrokes, but 
not the "mouse scroll"

geez, this stuff is overly stupid, sometimes (sigh)
