I posted about this issue (Jan 26 2018 post)
> Program is running on P10 runtime but one client has a problem printing from opal or from
the File print menu same error "Lcappprint initialize failed". More odd because if they print
a report containing just text it prints fine. Any reports with data fail.
> There are some mentions of this error on Bertil's bug list but most seem to be caused by
not installing in Admin, not the case in this install.
It appeared to be related to permissions on install. However I have a
client machine which has been printing fine until yesterday when the
same "Lccapptint" error appeared. Reinstalling runtime 10 has not, on
this occassion, cleared the fault.
this time it prints with no problem from an opal script.
My first thought was perhaps yet more interference from a Windows 10
update but on checking the computer in question has not had an update in
the past month.
I am baffled !!
