If you have the table open…
Choose on menu:
View – Edit Data
(or push F9 button)
It should allow editing.

Not sure what you mean?
It is possible it is a right issue; verify you have full right to the table
files?
If the folder it is located in was readonly you would not be able to open
the table, under most conditions.
