We were using Paradox 7 with Windows XP and it worked smoothly, recently we
got new computers, and we tried to install Paradox 7 but wouldn't install,
so we  tried installing Paradox 11 first, and then we could install Paradox
7.

Now we constantly having problem with the error "Cannot open: You have attempted
to open a database that is in use by someone else, but the database cannot
be shared. You must set the location for the .NET control file."

I have been reading the posting here and I know I have to set all 3 machines
pointing to the same network directory, and same mapping etc. setting local
share on etc. funny thing is
what I saved in BDE Administrator in Control panel doesn't seemed to be saved
in paradox when I check in BDE preference inside the paradox program, I also
tried using BDEadmin.exe "Run as administrator" option and it also didn't
work.


Can someone help me please?
