This is a common problem.

There are many different solutions and suggestion how to fix.

In my opinion, by far the easiest way is:

Open BDE-Admin and create a configuration file with the settings you need
for local share, net dir, number formats etc.

Under file-options, check the setting "for windows 3.1 and 95"

Use the BDE and "save as" to a location that all users have read access to,
like S:\BDECFG\MYCONFIG.CFG

Open up the CFG-file in an text editor and verify that the settings you need
are there. If you use Notepad much of the information will be scrambled but
you will be able to see the parameter that are saved.

On the shortcut you use to start the application att the "-o" switch and
point to the CFG file you created.

It should look something like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\WordPerfect Office
2002\Programs\pdxwin32.exe" -o S:\BDECFG\MYCONFIG.CFG

Start Paradox and verify that the settings are in use.
